Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is hiring drivers for dry van freight across 11 western states. Begin with a trainer and paid training, then move into your own truck once signed off. You’ll earn $680 per week during training and up to $1,000 per week guaranteed for the first 3 months of solo driving.

Experienced drivers can skip training with 6 months of OTR in the last 12 months or 12 months in the last 5 years. Pay includes a base weekly range of $1,000–$1,300 and a per-mile bonus; benefits follow after 30 days,

Qualifications

• CDL-A in hand or eligible for paid training with a driver trainer.
• 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Deliver dry van freight across 11 western states.
• Log 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week.
• Home every 2 weeks.
• Option to run past the western states for more miles.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• $680 per week during training

The Job

• Dry van freight across the 11 western states
• 1,700 to 2,100 miles per week
• Home every 2 weeks
• Option to run past the western states if you want more miles

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,000 to $1,300
• Standard mileage pay scale that grows with experience
• Up to 6 cents per mile extra in performance bonus
• $15 stop pay

Two Ways to Start

• CDL-A in hand, no experience: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school. Paid training with a driver trainer, paid every week while you learn.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12 months in the last 5 years. Skip training and go straight to your own truck.

Everyone Needs

• Class A CDL, 21 or older
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen
