NIS EXPRESS in Sumter, SC is hiring CDL drivers for a regional fleet. Trainees ride with an experienced trainer for 4–6 weeks, with weekly pay while you learn and a pathway to a solo truck once approved.

You’ll run 1,800–2,300 miles weekly in the East, with home every two weeks, drop and hook, and a pay package including $650 training pay and $1,000 weekly guaranteed for 3 months, plus mileage and stop pay.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL, 21+.
• New drivers: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing and a DOT physical.

Getting your CDL was the hard part. Now you need a company that will actually put a new driver in a truck. This regional fleet trains you on the road, pays you every week while you learn, and keeps your runs in the eastern part of the country.

Starting Out

• 4 to 6 weeks on the road with an experienced driver trainer
• $650 per week training pay
• Your own truck once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months solo

Regional Runs

• Regional freight that stays in the East
• 1,800 to 2,300 miles a week
• Home every two weeks
• Mostly drop and hook, some live loads

Paycheck

• $1,000 to $1,500 average weekly gross
• Mileage pay that climbs with experience
• $15 stop pay
• Performance bonus plan
