Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a Driver - SCM to support food distribution operations. You will operate a tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, delivering and unloading food products to customers while preserving safety and service standards.

The role requires DOT-compliant driving, pre/post trip inspections, accurate paperwork, and professional interaction with customers. CDL-A, 21+, clean MVR, and ability to lift heavy loads are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• CDL-A required; 21+ years old; clean MVR.
• Ability to hand-lift and move freight varying sizes and weights.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food products to customers.
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and adhere to DOT regulations.
• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers; obtain signatures and collect payments where required.
• Unload products at customer sites and ensure proper placement and documentation.
• Maintain accurate hours-of-service logs and keep equipment clean and secured.
