Job summary

Performance Food Group is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver to operate tractor-trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes, including overnight and local deliveries. You will ensure on-time delivery, load verification, and customer interaction with a focus on safety and DOT compliance.

Schedule is Monday–Friday with 4:00am–6:00am dispatch. Benefits start Day 1, with 401(k) matching, stock purchase plan, education assistance, and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• 6+ months commercial driving
• Valid CDL-A
• Must be 21+ years of age
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test
• Attains or has valid DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
• Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move freight (10–90 lbs) throughout shift

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers
• Performs safety checks per DOT regulations
• Delivers and unloads customer orders on scheduled routes
• Keeps required paperwork accurate and legible
• Maintains vehicle safety and cleanliness and reports hazards
