Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Driver for intrastate and interstate routes, delivering food and related products to customers. The role involves overnight and 10-12 hour shifts with early morning dispatches, handling load securement, and cash collection where required.

The position requires a valid CDL-A, 21+ years of age, and DOT health card. Benefits include health, 401K, and PTO, with growth opportunities in food distribution.

Qualifications

• 6+ months commercial driving experience.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Communicates and interacts with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally ensuring questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
• Performs all required safety checks (pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations.
• Follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
• Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule.
• Unloads products from the trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas.
