FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A driver to pick up and deliver trailers between Service Centers and turn-points using tractor-trailer combinations. Daily pre-trip inspections and safe operation are required.

You will hook/unhook trailers, maintain logs, comply with DOT and hazardous materials rules, and communicate with dispatch regarding delays or issues. Overnight stays may be required depending on schedules.

Formación

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat, and tank endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year experience within the last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR per hiring standards.
• Must meet DOT regulations under 391 FMC.
• Ability to handle long combination vehicles in specified states. AZ, CO, FL, ID, IN, KS, MT, ND, NV, OH, OK, OR, SD and UT.

Responsabilidades

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations, including doubles/triples.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies.
• Verify documentation and maintain logs.
• Load and unload freight as required.
• Communicate with dispatch and follow directions.
• Adhere to hazardous materials regulations.
• Work independently or as part of a team.
