Job summary

FedEx Freight is seeking an experienced driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers and turn-point locations using tractor-trailer combinations. The role requires adherence to safety, DOT, and company procedures with attention to accurate documentation and logs.

Ideal candidates possess a valid Class A CDL with hazmat and tank endorsements, have relevant driving experience, and can operate long combination vehicles as needed.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A required with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• MVR must meet FedEx Freight standards.
• DOT regulatory requirements must be met.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and safety inspections of equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converters to tractor or trailer.
• Complete required documentation and daily logs.
• Comply with hazardous materials regulations and procedures.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate any delays or issues.
• Load and unload freight as needed.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance.
