Job summary

GFI is seeking a delivery professional for routes across Minnesota and nearby states. You will perform pre-trip checks, drive to customer locations, maintain proper load temperatures, and ensure accurate delivery documentation.

The role requires a valid CDL, ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 75 lbs, and familiarity with DOT/FMCSA rules. We offer a generous benefits package, home weekly, and a family-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip responsibilities: verify route/account numbers, count items, check customer invoices, and conduct DOT/FMCSA safety checks.
• Drive to and deliver orders following DOT/FMCSA/state regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain load temperatures according to load specifications.
• Unload products at customer storage areas and obtain signatures; collect payment when required; report discrepancies.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Performing all pre-trip responsibilities, including checking route numbers and account numbers for assigned deliveries, counting items, and checking customer invoices of products that have been loaded, and performing the "pre-trip safety check" inspection of truck and trailer according to DOT/FMCSA regulations.
• Driving to and delivering customer orders following all DOT/FMCSA, state regulations, and GFI procedures and protocols
• Maintaining load temperatures according to load specifications
• Unloading products from the trailer with a hand truck or by hand and placing them in designated customer storage areas.
• Verifying delivery of items with customers and obtaining proper signatures; collecting money (cash or checks) when required; contacting management for authorization when discrepancies on the invoice and communicating all errors/returns.
