Job summary

The Macomb Group, a leader in the distribution of Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is seeking a full-time Class A driver to join the team in Raleigh, North Carolina. Responsibilities include local deliveries, maintaining truck logs, and preparing receipts for pickups. Candidates must possess a Class A driver’s license, DOT certification, and be physically capable of lifting up to 25 lbs.

Class A Driver

Location: Raleigh, North Carolina

Hours: Monday – Friday day shift; OT on some Saturdays 8 AM – 12 PM; No nights, holidays, or Sundays.

Overview

The Macomb Group, a recognized leading distributor in the Midwest for Pipe, Valve, and Fittings, is looking for a full‑time Class A driver to join our growing team.

Responsibilities

• Local deliveries
• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepare receipts for load pickup
• Maintain truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class A driver’s license
• DOT certification
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25 lbs
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus
