Job summary

The Macomb Group is seeking a full-time Class A driver for our Wilmington, North Carolina location. The role involves transporting materials, maintaining logs, and handling loading/unloading tasks along with possible warehouse duties after runs.

We offer a Monday–Friday day shift with OT on some Saturdays, and a comprehensive benefits package including PTO, holidays, and 401K with a strong employer match. No nights, holidays, or Sundays are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
• Class A License and DOT certification required.
• Be physically able to lift up to 25 lbs and perform loading/unloading.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from specified destinations.
• Prepares receipts for load pickup.
• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery.
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed.
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed.

Responsibilities

• Transport materials to and from specified destinations
• Prepares receipts for load pickup
• Maintenance of truck logs and proof of delivery
• Loading and unloading truck materials when needed
• Possible warehouse duties after runs are completed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Class A License
• DOT Certification
• Be able to walk, sit, stand, climb, kneel, or crawl occasionally
• Be able to frequently lift or move up to 25lbs
• Be able to strap and load materials onto truck bed
• Knowledge of PVF is a plus

Work Setting

Monday - Friday, day shift

OT on some Saturdays, 8 AM - 12 PM

No nights, holidays, or Sundays
