McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Trainee in Minnesota to start a hands-on trucking career. You will receive paid training, coaching, and support from an experienced driver team as you prepare for independent routes.

From day one, you’ll earn competitive pay with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits. Local and regional routes with early evening dispatch and overnight deliveries await committed teammates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and handle lines to secure.
• Operate truck safely in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Inspect equipment for defects pre/post trip and submit DOT reports.
• Use DDH to document receipts, temps, and exceptions; ensure product security.
• Rides with Driver Trainer to gain knowledge of driving regulations and maneuvers.
• Maintain driver logs per DOT regulations and document temperatures.
• Assist in unloading and delivering product; provide customer service.
• Other duties as assigned.
