McLane Company, Inc is looking for a Trainee Component Driver to ensure accurate product delivery while enhancing skills in a safety-focused environment. Upon successful completion of training, drivers can earn between $90,000 and $95,000 per year. If you are 21 or older, reliable, and passionate about safety, we want you!

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Possess a Class A CDL.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to select/load/unload and/or deliver all products.
• Read and comprehend labels, instructions, and bills of lading.
• Perform mathematical calculations to verify quantities.
• Effectively communicate with customers and teammates.

Responsibilities

• Maneuver tractor into position to attach trailer and handle lines.
• Operate truck in compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Inspect tractor-trailer equipment for defects.
• Document delivery receipts and product temperatures.
• Train with Driver Trainer to learn commercial driving regulations.
• Assist the Driver in unloading trailer and delivering product.
