Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is seeking CDL drivers for a regional East Coast fleet. The program trains new CDL holders on the road with weekly pay and keeps runs in the East so home is never far away.

Training lasts 4 to 6 weeks with an experienced driver trainer; $650 per week during training and your own truck once your trainer signs off. You’ll receive $1,000 per week guaranteed for the first 3 months solo, with 1,800–2,300 miles weekly and home every two weeks.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL and at least 21 years old.
• New drivers: 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the last 5 years.
• Clean record: max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no major preventable accidents in 5 years.
• Pass hair and urine drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Regional freight across the eastern states.
• No single customer, so the freight stays steady.
• Home every two weeks.
• 1,800 to 2,300 miles a week, drop and hook on most loads.
