Job summary

American Driver LLC in Central Florida offers a driver opportunity focused on starting drivers with a solid training plan and a clear progression. During training you’ll earn 650 per week, then a 1,000 weekly guarantee after you go solo, with home time every two weeks and steady mileage as you ramp to 2,500 miles per week.

Orientation pays of 300 plus lodging are included, plus health, dental, and vision benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required and must be 21+ years old.
• 120+ hours CDL school completion required.
• New CDL graduates welcomed; 6 months OTR in 12 months or 12 months in 5 years preferred.
• Hair and urine drug testing; 3 years verifiable work history.

Responsibilities

• Drive East Coast dry van freight from the Ocala area.
• Maintain home terminal in Ocala and manage about 2,500 miles/week once trained.
• Complete training with an experienced mentor for 4 to 6 weeks.
• Adhere to safety and performance standards, including stop pay and mileage rates.

• Average weekly pay $1,200 to $1,400

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL, 21+, 120+ hours CDL school
• New CDL graduates welcome. Experienced: 6 months OTR in 12 months or 12 months in 5 years
• DD214 considered
• Max 2 moving violations in 2 years, no serious violations in the last 12 months
• No major preventable accidents in 5 years, no DUI/DWI in 5 to 10 years
• Hair and urine drug testing, 3 years verifiable work history
