American Driver LLC is hiring CDL-A drivers for OTR dry van routes in Belleview, Summerfield and south Marion County. You start with mentor training at $650 per week (3–5 weeks), then earn at least $1,000 weekly for the first 3 months solo, and $1,200–$1,800 weekly once solo.

Expect 1,800–2,900 miles per week and return home every two weeks. Riders are welcome, and a dog under 40 lbs can ride along after training. Orientation is two days, with a covered hotel and a $300 hiring bonus.

• 21+ with a Class A CDL
• New CDL grad, or 6 months of recent driving
• 2 or fewer moving violations in 2 years
• No DUI/DWI in 10 years
• DOT physical and hair/urine drug screen

We're hiring new CDL-A drivers in Belleview, Summerfield and south Marion County for an OTR dry van seat. You earn $650 a week in training, then $1,200–$1,800 a week solo, and you're home every two weeks.

You passed your CDL test. Now every application asks for a year of experience you can't get without a first job. This is that first job.

Questions new drivers ask us

"Do I get paid while I'm training?"
Yes. $650 every week, from the first week with your mentor.

"What if I'm slow at backing?"
Everyone is at first. You get 3 to 5 weeks (200–250 hours) with a mentor in the next seat before you drive alone.

"What happens to my check when I go solo?"
For the first three months it can't drop below $1,000 a week. After that, drivers average $1,200 to $1,800.

"How often am I home?"
Every two weeks.

"Where will I drive?"
Anywhere from Denver east, with no Northeast runs. It's dry van freight: drop and hook, preloads and live loads.

"Is there extra pay?"
$15 per extra stop, $75 plus miles on short hauls, and a monthly performance bonus.

Getting hired

Orientation is two days or less. The hotel is covered, a bus ticket there is reimbursed, and you earn $300 for it once you're hired. Your truck is assigned to you, about 1.5 years old on average.

Coverage starts at 30 days

Medical, dental, vision and prescriptions, a 401(k), a stock purchase plan, and an employee assistance program. You and one family member can earn an online degree tuition-free. Riders are welcome, and a dog under 40 lbs can ride along once you finish training.
