Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking an experienced tractor-trailer driver to safely operate equipment across diverse routes and terrains. You will comply with FMCSA regulations, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure secure handling of cargo.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to pass medical and road tests. Candidate must meet time and safety standards and be able to work independently or with a team.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21+ years old and 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A CDL and FMCSA Clearinghouse registration.
• Hazmat, Tanker, and Doubles endorsements required.
• Able to pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the service center.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Able to lift 70 lbs and operate a forklift.
• Able to drive across diverse terrains and weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer safely in compliance with laws and FMCSA regulations.
• Maintain records per local, state, and federal regulations.
• Comply with hazardous materials transport rules and safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report maintenance needs.
• Load/unload freight and assist on dock as needed.
• Assist with local pickup/delivery routes and hub operations.
• Provide professional service to customers and the public.
• Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
