Job summary

Estes Express Lines is seeking a safety-focused commercial driver to operate tractor-trailers across diverse routes and conditions in the United States. You will adhere to FMCSA regulations, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and ensure cargo security while maintaining required records.

The role involves loading/unloading freight, using in-cab technology, and adapting to schedules as needed. A valid CDL and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 21 years of age and one year driving experience.
• Class A Commercial Driver's License required.
• Must register with FMCSA Clearinghouse.
• Within 75 miles of domiciled terminal/work assignment.
• Hazmat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.

Responsibilities

• Operate all types of equipment and perform safety functions across terrain, routes and conditions.
• Safely drive tractor/trailer for freight under FMCSA rules and company policies.
• Maintain FMCSA-required records and comply with hazardous materials requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; check gauges and trailer seals.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to Fleet Services or supervision.
• Use in-cab technology and electronic logs as required.
• Assist with local pickups, hub/regional runs, or dock work as needed.
• Attend and perform duties under tight time constraints in a high-volume environment.
