Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines seeks a CDL-A freight driver to operate tractor-trailers across varied routes. You will ensure safety and compliance with FMCSA rules, conduct pre/post-trip inspections, and load/unload when required.

Customer service and safe handling of cargo are essential, with occasional dock duties as needed. Qualifications include a valid Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker/Doubles endorsements, and the ability to meet FMCSA English requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age per FMCSA regulations; 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required.
• Must be able to drive tractor trailer per FMCSA requirements.
• Must meet FMCSA English reading/speaking requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with laws.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections for safe operation.
• Maintain compliance with FMCSA regulations and local rules.
• Provide safe, professional service to customers and the public.
• Assist with dock loading/unloading as needed.
• Report maintenance issues promptly to supervision.
