Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (A) to safely operate heavy trucks for prompt waste removal and delivery. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily VCRs to address defects.

Responsibilities include pre/post-trip inspections, route servicing, loading/unloading, and minor container repairs. Prior CDL-A with air brakes preferred; two years driving experience recommended.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections as per policy.

• Load and unload waste, operate compactors, and dispose of material per procedures.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others daily.
• Perform minor container repairs and report safety issues promptly.
