Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Driver – CDL (A) to safely operate heavy trucks and perform prompt delivery and removal of large containers. You will ensure vehicle readiness, comply with safety standards, and complete daily vehicle condition reports.

You will follow routes, assist customers, perform minor container repairs, and maintain accurate route and productivity records. Two years’ driving experience preferred; class A CDL with air brakes required; company benefits and growth

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Ability to perform minor repairs to containers.
• Maintains safety and complies with company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated routes and service customers.
• Operate controls to lift/load refuse and dispose of materials.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues.
• Tag and identify unsatisfactory containers and report issues.
