Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Driver – CDL (A) to safely operate heavy trucks for prompt delivery and removal of large containers. Responsibilities include pre/post inspections, route service, loading, and minor repairs, while following safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle.
• Safely operate heavy trucks along designated routes to service customers.
• Load and dispose of refuse, operate the compactor, and manage waste disposal.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and others daily.
• Perform minor container repairs and identify unsatisfactory waste containers.
• Monitor waste for unsafe materials and clean spills adhering to safety standards.
• Maintain vehicle readiness and complete route productivity reports.
• Follow safety policies and participate in ReSOP program.
