Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a CDL A Driver to safely operate heavy trucks for the delivery and removal of large containers, while ensuring compliance with safety standards and daily vehicle inspections.

The role includes loading/unloading, serving customers on routes, minor container repairs, and active participation in the ReSOP program. Prior commercial driving experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre/post vehicle inspections per policy.
• Safely operate heavy trucks on designated routes to service customers.
• Load/unload refuse, operate compactors, dispose materials at facilities.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and colleagues daily.
