Job summary

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with air brakes endorsement.
• Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude for minor repairs to containers.
• Good customer service skills and professional conduct.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Safely operate heavy truck along designated routes and service customers.
• Load/unload refuse and operate compactor per safety policies.
• Interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure timely service.
• Perform minor repairs to containers on site or in yard.
• Tag unsatisfactory containers and monitor waste quality.
• Maintain vehicle readiness to minimize downtime.
• Complete route/productivity sheets and reports as required.
