Job summary

Performance Foodservice seeks a Shuttle Driver for Sunday to Thursday nights, 7pm until completion. The role drives various trailers, ensuring safety checks and DOT compliance while delivering to domicile/shuttle yards. Requires CDL A with Doubles, 21+, clean MVR, and the ability to handle 60–90 lb cases.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR past 3 years.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card valid or able to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) for tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company driving guidelines; report hazards.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading and securing freight.
• Maintain route paperwork and accessibility for dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predetermined routes; hook/unhook safely.
• Park and store tractors; secure equipment and freight.
• Document hours of service in required logs.
• Assist with housekeeping and related duties as assigned.
