Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. The role requires safe driving, adherence to DOT rules, and accurate paperwork.

Expect a 3rd shift schedule: Sunday–Thursday evenings with 6pm–8pm dispatch. The position offers competitive pay plus benefits starting Day 1 and opportunities to grow within a large food distribution network.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CDL A with Doubles Endorsement is required.
• 12 months commercial driving experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and able to pass pre-employment checks.
• DOT Health Card current or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; secure freight.
• Maintain route paperwork and communicate with dispatch for on-time deliveries.
• Operate tractor/trailer and complete daily logs as required.
