Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. Operates tandem tractor trailers or straight trucks, following DOT regulations and safety procedures.

Position requires a valid CDL A with a doubles endorsement and 6+ months of driving experience. Schedule is Sunday-Thursday evenings, starting at 6:00 PM, with a 4-night week. Sign-on bonus of $7,500 applies under stated terms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CDL Class A with Doubles Endorsement required.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• 6+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Drive and deliver trailers on scheduled routes.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Ensure route paperwork is completed and available.
• Maintain equipment and trailer security.
• Record hours of service as required.
