Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty and full trailers across intrastate and interstate routes, primarily during a Sunday–Thursday night schedule. You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks while maintaining DOT compliance and safety standards.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, secure loading, and timely deliveries. A valid CDL A with a Doubles Endorsement, 21+ years old, and a clean MVR are required, with benefits starting Day 1.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• Valid DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds and operate related equipment.
• Willing to work a 3rd shift schedule, Sunday–Thursday nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer per DOT regulations.
• Inspect equipment and report safety issues or needed repairs.
• Drive and deliver trailers according to the scheduled routes.
• Complete hook/unhook procedures safely and efficiently.
• Park and store tractor trailers in designated areas.
• Ensure all route paperwork and freight are secured and accounted for.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per federal and company requirements.
• Support a clean, safe, and organized loading and docking area.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
