Job summary

Cheney Brothers, Inc. is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations.

The role operates on a night schedule with a 3:00 PM dispatch, covering intrastate and interstate routes in compliance with DOT regulations. Qualifications include a high school diploma, 1+ year driving experience, and a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.

Qualifications

• 1 year or more commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Pre/post trip safety checks and DOT inspections; ensure tractor, trailer and freight meet safety standards.
• Drive and deliver trailers per predetermined routes and schedules.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; report hazards promptly.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs per Federal DOT and company requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support operations.
