Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver in Massachusetts to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, safely and on schedule. The role requires a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 21+ years old and 12+ months of commercial driving experience, plus DOT compliance and logkeeping duties.

Schedule is Sunday-Thursday, 6PM start; pay is $31 per hour.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Meets state licensing/certification requirements where applicable.
• Pass pre-employment drug test and road test.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure one.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre/post trip safety inspections per DOT rules.
• Inspect and secure freight; ensure paperwork is complete.
• Drive tandem/tractor trailer on intrastate/interstate routes.
• Turn around and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards.
• Log hours of service and maintain equipment and area cleanliness.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
