Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Shuttle Driver for Sunday–Thursday night shifts in Columbus, OH. You will transport empty trailers between warehouse locations and deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, complying with DOT regulations.

Responsibilities include pre/post trip inspections, securing loads, maintaining logs, and safe handling of equipment. This role offers strong benefits and opportunities to grow within daily night-shift work.

Qualifications

• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid CDL A with doubles endorsement.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass pre-employment drug test, road test, and maintain a DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer and conform to DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Drive and deliver trailers per route schedule and ensure proper securing of freight.
• Complete daily hours-of-service logs in accordance with DOT requirements.
• Unloads and secures freight, parks trailers, and performs other duties as assigned.
