Job summary

Performance Food Group, a leading broadline distributor, seeks a Shuttle Driver in Columbus, OH. You will transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and then turn around to deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards, following DOT rules and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Safety checks pre/post trip per DOT regulations.
• Maintain compliance with DOT rules and company policies.
• Ensure proper route paperwork is available at dispatch.
• Able to lift and move freight up to 90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks on tractor/trailer and report issues.
• Drive and deliver trailers on predefined routes on time.
• Hook/unhook procedures following safety guidelines.
• Park/store tractors and secure equipment and freight.
• Log hours of service daily per Federal DOT and company rules.
• Maintain clean trailers and complete required paperwork.
