Job summary

Performance Food Group seeks Shuttle Drivers in Kalamazoo, MI to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and then deliver full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tractors and straight trucks on intrastate/interstate routes, staying compliant with DOT rules and delivering goods safely and timely.

The role requires 12 months of commercial driving experience, a valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, and a clean MVR.

Qualifications

• 12 months commercial driving experience.
• High school diploma/GED or state approved equivalent.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test and have a current DOT Health Card or able to secure one.
• Able to lift and move product cases 10–90 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Performs safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations and inspects tractor/trailer.
• Reports safety issues and repairs required.
• Follows DOT regulations and company safety guidelines; ensures secure freight.
• Maintains route paperwork with tractor trailer load for dispatch.
• Drives and delivers trailers according to schedule; hooks/unhooks safely.
• Parks and stores tractors; secures equipment and freight; completes required paperwork.
