Job summary

Performance Foodservice, a broadline distributor for PFG, seeks a Shuttle Driver to move empty trailers to operating locations and return full trailers to domicile/shuttle yards.

The role requires a CDL A with Doubles Endorsement, 12 months of commercial driving, and 21+ years old, with DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one. Day-1 benefits accompany a competitive, essential logistics position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 12 months of commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• DOT Health Card or ability to obtain one.
• Able to operate lifting equipment and handle product loads.

Responsibilities

• Safety checks (pre/post trip) on tractor/trailer per DOT and company standards.
• Report safety issues and required repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies.
• Inspect trailer for proper load security.
• Maintain route paperwork and comply with dispatch.
• Drive and deliver trailers per schedule.
• Perform hook/unhook procedures safely.
• Park and store trailers; secure equipment and freight.
• Complete hours-of-service logs as required.
• Keep tractor, dock, and trailers clean and organized.
