Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Shuttle Driver to transport empty trailers to warehouse locations and return full trailers to domicile/shuttle yard locations. You will operate tandem, tractor, or straight trucks on intrastate and interstate routes, ensuring safety and efficiency and complying with DOT regulations.

The role requires 12+ months of commercial driving, a valid CDL A with doubles endorsement, and a 3rd shift schedule from Sunday to Thursday.

Qualifications

• 12+ months of commercial driving experience.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• Valid CDL A with Doubles Endorsement.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Meet state licensing requirements.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT Health Card current or able to secure.

Responsibilities

• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Report safety issues and needed repairs.
• Drive and deliver trailers on scheduled routes.
• Hook/unhook per safety guidelines.
• Park and store tractor trailers securely.
• Complete daily hours-of-service records.
