Job summary

NIS EXPRESS is looking for newly licensed CDL-A drivers in the Bend, OR area to join a western regional fleet that trains new CDL holders on the road. You will earn weekly pay during training and progress to solo driving with a guaranteed first-month check.

Expect about 2,000 miles per week with dry van freight across western states, home every two weeks, and day/night dispatch with weekend driving. Medical/dental/vision benefits available after 30 days and a 401(k) plan with company match.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL, 21 or older.
• Completed 120+ hours at an accredited CDL school.
• No more than 2 moving violations in 2 years.
• Able to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
• Live within 200 miles of Troutdale, OR.

Responsibilities

• Drive dry van freight across the western states, west of the Mississippi.
• Maintain around 2,000 miles per week.
• Home every 2 weeks.
• Day and night dispatch, weekend driving expected.

Have your CDL-A but no driving experience yet? This is where you start. Bend area drivers are joining a western regional fleet that trains new CDL holders on the road, pays them every week while they learn, and backs their first months solo with a guaranteed check.

How You Start

• Ride with an experienced driver trainer on real loads
• Paid every week during training
• Move into your own truck on full pay once your trainer signs off
• $1,000 per week guaranteed for your first 3 months of solo driving

The Job

• Dry van freight across the western states, west of the Mississippi
• Around 2,000 miles per week
• Home every 2 weeks
• Day and night dispatch, weekend driving expected

Pay

• Average weekly earnings of $1,500
• Starting rate of 50 cents per mile
• $15 stop pay
• Monthly driver performance bonus
