FedEx Freight, Inc. is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to pick up and deliver trailers between service centers using tractor-trailer combinations. The role includes daily pre-trip inspections, hooking/unhooking equipment, logging, and following dispatch instructions to ensure on-time service.

You will operate long-haul and local routes, comply with DOT and company policies, and perform loading/unloading as required. Excellent safety and documentation practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Must possess a class A CDL with double/triple, hazmat and tank endorsements.
• Automatic transmission CDL restriction allowed.
• 1 year experience within last 3 years or completion of FedEx Freight Driver Development Course.
• Must have acceptable MVR and meet DOT requirements under FMC regulations.
• LCV knowledge for certain states and ability to hook/unhook trailers.

Responsabilités

• Operate tractor-trailer, including doubles/triples where applicable.
• Perform daily pre-trip and safety inspections of equipment.
• Hook/unhook trailers and converter dollies to/from tractors and trailers.
• Verify documentation, complete reports and maintain logs.
• Follow dispatch instructions and communicate delays or problems.
• Load and unload freight as required and comply with regulations.
