Job summary

American Driver LLC is seeking drivers for regional intermodal work in the Tulsa area. Earn a $10,000 sign-on bonus and a $1,538 weekly average, with paid home miles and the drive home included. Runs are regional across OK/TX/AR/KS/MO/LA/MS/TN with home time and weekend options.

Schedule includes Friday to Tuesday or Thursday to Monday, out 5 and home 2, with start times chosen between 2 PM and 3 AM. Training is orientation plus trainer days; hazmat required within 180 days with reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class A CDL and be 21+ years old.
• 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 6 months or 12 months in the last 5 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional intermodal routes with 100% no touch freight.
• Start and finish at Haslet, Texas rail yard; handle drop-and-hook freight when required.

The Basics

• Schedule: Friday to Tuesday or Thursday to Monday, out 5 and home 2
• Start Times: your pick, between 2 PM and 3 AM
• Freight: rail containers, 75% drop and hook, 100% no touch
• Region: Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi and Tennessee
• Truck: automatic sleeper with a 1500 watt inverter

The Money

• $1,538 weekly average (about $80,000 a year)
• $10,000 sign-on bonus, first payment after your first dispatch (eligibility terms apply)
• $0.62 to $0.68 per mile, around 2,000 miles a week
• $15 per drop and hook
• Paid home miles
• Optional 6th day

• Where do I park on days off? At home, at a safe secure spot, or at one of our yards in Haslet, Dallas, Houston, San Antonio, Lowell or North Little Rock.
• Where do runs start? Every run starts or ends at the Haslet, Texas rail yard.
• Training? One day of orientation, then 3 or more days with a certified trainer.
• Hazmat? Needed within 180 days. We reimburse it.
• Riders or pets? No.

Requirements

• 21+ with a valid Class A CDL
• 3 months verifiable tractor-trailer experience in the last 6 months with one carrier, 6 months in the last 12, or 12 months in the last 5 years
• Hazmat within 180 days of orientation
• Reliable transportation and a safe place for the tractor on days off
• No more than 2 moving violations and no careless or reckless driving in 3 years
• No DUI/DWI in 5 years and no major preventable accidents in 3 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing, with no failed drug or alcohol test in the last 5 years
