Job summary

Schneider National is hiring for a dedicated driving role to haul home improvement supplies in dry van trailers. The job features 100% no-touch work and 95% drop-and-hook with about 10 loads weekly across AR, CO, IA, KS, MO and NE.

Expect mileage pay plus on-duty hourly pay, a $1,000 weekly guarantee in your first 90 days, and a $5,000 or $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over the first year depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire; training available.
• Residence within 70 miles of Mount Vernon, MO.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first 90 days at Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire - Schneider's self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
