Job summary

Schneider National is seeking commercial drivers for dedicated routes in Kansas and surrounding states. You will haul home improvement supplies in dry van trailers and enjoy reliable home time, weekly pay and comprehensive benefits.

This full-time role offers mileage pay, a guaranteed first-week pay and performance bonuses, plus a sign-on bonus for experienced and inexperienced drivers. Orientation is paid and company match 401(k) is provided.

Overview

• Haul home improvement supplies in dry van trailers.
• 100% no-touch and 90% drop-and-hook.
• 5-10 loads per week.
• Drive within AR, CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, MO, ND, NE & SD.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first90 daysat Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 100 miles of Topeka, KS.
