Job summary

Schneider National in Omaha, NE is seeking dedicated truck drivers to haul home improvement supplies in dry van trailers, with 7–10 loads per week and routes across AR, CO, IA, KS, MO, NE and WY.

This role features 100% no-touch freight and 95% drop-and-hook, with mileage pay plus hourly pay on duty, a weekly guarantee for the first 90 days, a $5,000 sign-on bonus for experienced drivers, a $2,000 sign-on for new drivers and an annual bonus up to 2% of gross pay, plus comprehensive benefits.

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire, Schneider provides online prep.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• Earn at least $1,000 in weekly guarantee pay during your first 90 days at Schneider.
• Weekly performance pay.
• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• $2,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• HazMat endorsement required within 90 days of hire — Schneider’s self-paced online certification training will help you secure it.
• Live within 60 miles of Omaha, NE.
