Job summary

C.R. England is seeking experienced truck drivers based in the McCook, IL area. You will operate a day cab with daily yard returns and handle a mix of live load and drop-and-hook freight across multiple dispatches per shift.

Most runs stay within a 65-mile radius of the rail ramp, with longer legs up to 500–600 miles round trip and weekly layovers. Expect home daily, 2 consecutive days off, 10–12 hour days, five days a week, with an optional sixth day.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• 21 years of age or older.
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate day cab on regional/intra-state routes within a 65-mile radius of the McCook, IL ramp.
• Dispatches include live load and drop and hook freight.

The rail ramp at 5200 Joliet Road in McCook, IL is where every dispatch on this intermodal fleet starts and ends. Most of your work stays within a 65-mile radius of the ramp, with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight across multiple dispatches per shift.

You drive a day cab, and tractors leave and return to the yard daily. Some dispatches run longer, up to 500-600 miles round trip, including regional runs into OH, MI, KY, IA and WI.

Schedule:
