C.R. England is hiring for CDL drivers to operate day cabs around McCook, IL. Dispatches are primarily within a 65‑mile radius with some longer regional runs up to 500–600 miles.

Expect live load and drop‑and‑hook freight, with home daily schedules and shifts typically 10–12 hours, five days a week; optional 6th day available. Applicants must hold a valid Class A CDL, be 21+, and have at least 3 months of experience.

Job description

The rail ramp at 5200 Joliet Road in McCook, IL is where every dispatch on this intermodal fleet starts and ends. Most of your work stays within a 65-mile radius of the ramp, with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight across multiple dispatches per shift.

You drive a day cab, and tractors leave and return to the yard daily. Some dispatches run longer, up to 500-600 miles round trip, including regional runs into OH, MI, KY, IA and WI.
