Job summary

C.R. England in Kansas City, MO is seeking a Local Intermodal Truck Driver for the PM shift. The role features 10–12 hour days, five days weekly, local runs with some trips up to 150–200 miles, and a mix of live load and drop-and-hook freight.

Trucks are modern automatic tractors; you will report to the intermodal yard at 4100 Kentucky Ave. Overnight stays are occasional and home time is frequent; the position is onsite with full benefits as described.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• 21 years of age or older
• 3+ months of recent Class A CDL experience
• Reliable transportation to commute to and from work

Kansas City nights are when this intermodal work happens, with your shift running on the PM schedule out of the yard at 4100 Kentucky Ave, Kansas City, MO 64116. Each shift brings multiple dispatches, with a mix of live load and drop and hook freight.

Most runs stay local, and some go as far as 150-200 miles from the rail ramp. Overnight stays happen only occasionally, so you are home multiple times per week.
