Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC is seeking a professional Driver to manage daily routes, load and unload products at customer sites, and ensure accurate deliveries. The role involves manual handling of goods, adherence to DOT regulations, and safe operation of company vehicles.

You will communicate with customers, obtain required signatures, and escalate discrepancies to management. A Class A CDL and clean driving record are required, with flexibility for overtime and weekend shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen required.
• Class A CDL with a clean driving record required.
• English language proficiency for communications and records.
• Ability to lift 40–100 pounds repeatedly.
• Overtime, weekends and holidays may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily route service and on-time delivery performance.
• Unload and unload products using hand trucks or carts.
• Manually load/stack pallets as needed and assist with palletizing.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Follow DOT regulations and Sysco safety policies during trips.
• Report and resolve delivery discrepancies and returns.
• Maintain proper handling of company equipment and communicate with supervision.
