Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Delivery Driver to manage daily routes with frequent stops, load and unload products, and ensure accurate deliveries to customers. The role is customer-facing and requires adherence to safety and DOT procedures.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, at least one year of route delivery experience, and a CDL Class B license (Class A preferred). Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or GED or equivalent.
• Experience: One year route delivery experience or applicable background delivering a straight truck.
• Valid CDL – Class B (Class A preferred).
• English language proficiency to communicate with customers and document deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide driver and customer relations support for major routes and programs.
• Run routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
• Unload products from trailers and place in customer storage areas.
• Assist with loading trucks or palletizing as needed and directed by supervision.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT and Sysco policies.
