Job summary

Sysco Northeast Rdc is seeking a delivery driver to perform daily route deliveries to customer locations. You will unload and load products, handle pallets, and ensure on-time deliveries while maintaining safety and accuracy under the supervision of the Transportation Department Manager.

The role requires a valid CDL, 1 year of route delivery experience, and strong customer service skills. You will operate in various weather conditions and must lift heavy loads, follow company safety policies,

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
1 year route delivery experience or driving a straight truck.
Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B (Class A preferred).
English language proficiency for customer interaction and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

Provide technical, customer relations, and personnel management for major programs and projects.
Runs routes efficiently, meeting or exceeding designated route times.
Unload product from trailer by hand or using a hand cart to designated storage areas.
Lift and move product weighing up to 50 lbs frequently, up to 80 lbs infrequently.
Verify delivery with customer and obtain signatures; communicate discrepancies to management.
