Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Local Delivery Driver to operate a 10-speed manual and deliver food products to customers in a home-daily schedule. You will build relationships with clients while handling deliveries in a fast-paced environment.

Shift is Monday–Friday with early start times; drivers receive weekly pay, base pay plus per-mile and per-stop incentives, and access to benefits from day one. Veterans are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Class A CDL with ability to operate a 10-speed manual (no automatic restrictions).
• Prior food or beverage delivery experience preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation and professionalism.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a drug test and background check as part of employment.
• Clean driving record per DOT and company standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities while building relationships.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs with ramp and two-wheeler; ensure accurate deliveries to routes.

Location:

3301 NW 125th St, Miami FL

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule:

Monday-Friday. Start time 3:0 AM - 5:0 AM until route finish

Pay:

Guaranteed minimum of $1,100.00/week Drivers average 90,000/year Daily base pay, plus component pay Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered

Requirements:

• At least 21 years of age

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check


• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards

You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
