Job summary

Gordon Food Service is hiring a CDL A Delivery Driver in Wilmington, MA. You will deliver food products to restaurant, school, and hospital accounts, building strong customer relationships while maintaining safety standards.

Expect day shifts with local routes and home daily. You will unload up to 100 lbs, use a ramp and two-wheeler, and participate in a component pay structure with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to unload up to 100 lbs.
• Pass a DOT drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.
• Enrollment in DOT Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers such as restaurants, schools, hospitals, and universities.
• Build relationships with customers while completing deliveries.
• Unload cases and use ramp and two-wheeler as part of the shift.
• Day shifts with local routes and home each day.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location

40 Fordham Rd, Wilmington MA Trailer Drop

Schedule

Monday - Friday. Start time between 4-5 AM & work until route is finished

Pay

Our drivers annual pay ranges from $90K to over $110K!

Our drivers are paid on a component pay structure. You are paid for the work that you do!

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you’ll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age
• Class A CDL License at hire
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs throughout shift
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards
• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
