Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Piqua, OH is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to build relationships with customers while delivering food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you’ll be home every day. You’ll unload cases up to 100 lbs and use a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift.

Start times around 3am–6am, Monday–Friday. Pay averages $75K–$95K per year with a guaranteed minimum of $1100 per week.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record as required by DOT and company standards.
• Registered through DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to customers, including restaurants, schools, and hospitals.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs; use ramp and two-wheeler as needed.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure on‑time deliveries.
• Follow safety and DOT compliance during all routes.

Location: Piqua, OH

Schedule: Monday - Friday. Start time 3am-6am until the route is finished

Pay: Drivers average $75K - 95K /year

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age


• Class A CDL License at hire


• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds


• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift


• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)


• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check


• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards


• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
