Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Wheeling, IL is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals and more. Local day shifts mean you are home every day; you will unload cases up to 100 lbs using a ramp and two-wheeler.

Candidates must be at least 21, hold a Class A CDL, pass a DOT drug test and background check, have a clean driving record, and be registered in the Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse. Weekly pay and strong benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL License at hire.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Successfully pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record; DOT and Gordon Food Service standards.

Responsibilities

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule

Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish

Minimum weekly guarantee of $1,100/week

Paid for every mile driven, stop made, and case delivered
